Journaling:
Lean on her stomach, put her legs to the side of the bed, push herself backwards, until her legs are touching the floor. The very next minute, she’ll zoom off … out of the room!!!

Ever since I allowed Pea to walk on her own in the garden, it has been one of her fav. past time… walking up and down the porch and going left and right the garden. It’s a new thing for her… seeing the flowers, grass, plants and insects… too much for a the lil’ girl ? I guess not!

Pea must have gotten the going-to-school fever, coz she also wanted to be part of it. She seemed to have sensed that her sister has started schooling and she doesn’t want to be left behind, hence the early start of learning ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’.

Pie’s days in Kindergarten

This year, we’ve started sending Pie to kindergarten. Pie was quite reluctant to do so, as she knows that she’ll be apart from us for a few hours (which she totally don’t like). I think she’s too comfortable in her comfy zone, that nothing can come in between. She has never (and ever) been apart from us… she’s either with me / hubby / my mother. Oh well, I guess she cannot just stay at home forever and don’t go to school… Both have to learn to let go for a while.

Anyway, Pie’s first day, to me is kinda successful. Obviously there’ll be cries and not-letting-go-of-your-hand and looks telling you how she feels… all sorts of things that every mother (if not parent) would have come across to. However, she is braved enough to listen to me and her teacher… hence she eventually did her coloring and sang some songs, and totally enjoyed herself.

I’m so glad that my girl have adapted herself to school-environment, coz now, whenever we ask her whether she’s made friends, she’ll happily tell us ‘Yes, got Rachel, Lean & Isaac’. Ain’t that 1 happy lil’ gal ?

Pie’s funny faces

funnies.jpg

Pie loves to pose. But it’s no ordinary pose that we usually see… stand in a normal position, maybe tilt the head a bit, at times crossing arms… you know… however, Pie have other ideas. See how outrageous her poses and funny faces she has, and you’ll understand…

Tricks that the youngest in the family can think of

Never did it come across my mind that a small baby can conjure so many tricks. As angelic as she can be, she has lots of tricks up her sleeves.

#1:
For a baby who doesn’t drink a lot of milk, she’s as strong as a muscle man could be (haha… exaggerating a bit lar). Our dining table and chair is of antique… hence it’s quite heavy (cannot remember made from what kind of wood). And our young baby can actually pull the chair away from the table.

#2:
Whenever she doesn’t want the pacifier, and we still tried to give her, she’ll push our hands away, saying ‘Mnh Oi’ (don’t want).

#3:
The same thing happened when I gave her donuts to eat yesterday. After a while, she walked away, and when I tried giving her more to eat, she said ‘Mnh Oi. Bau Bau’ (Don’t want. Full already). Some more patted her chest (supposingly to be stomach), indicating full.

#4 (And the best of all!):
Pea wakes up very early in the morning (sometimes can be considered our alarm clock). Usually she’ll scream cry, just to let us know she’s up. However, this one particular morning, she did something different. She sleeps in the baby cot, and her father sleeps on the bed next to the baby cot. So Pea took her bolster (small ones) and threw it out of the baby cot, towards her father. Think in her sense, trying to wake him up (which she successfully did)…

If that’s not a tricky baby who has full of ideas, I really don’t know what to say of her…

Haha… Pie looks so hopeful… like she’s hoping for lots and lots of X’mas presents during this joyful season… Well Pie, you’ve got a lot of toys at home… no point asking for more… :D

Playing hide & seek

Pea loves to hide behind the living room sofa. No idea why that is so… to her, it’s a baby’s paradise… She feels so happy and satisfied to be there… and doesn’t mind playing alone…

Pea’s growing up

Pea surprised us by taking her water bottle, and put it to the mouth to drink. She has been constantly playing with the bottle, but this was the first time seeing her putting into her mouth. It’s another skill she’s picking up… though this might be late for some mothers, but for me, it’s an amazing moment (though I’ve seen this previously)… To me, both girls are unique on her own… hence their achievement are something I’m looking forward to.
